For the month of May 2009, Bibliophiles Anonymous will be reading Ghost World by Daniel Clowes.
The last meeting of the semester, 5/12/09 12:30 pm in 1307, we will be watching the video adaptation and discussing it.

I disliked the book. Vey very much. Hopefully the movie will be better. There was no plot! No anything!
It felt like an old person trying to be a cool teenager and not understand the acutal realities of life.
Are 18 year olds really like this?
I could not stand how the characters were! Plus I could not find a meaningful plot. There were supposeed to be ghosts everywhere! I got so fed up with it that I just could not finish.
It never said there were ghost lol.
Though I do admit I expected some supernatural stuff to happen.
And then it didn't.
